Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with Operations Control Centre (OCC) and the stakeholders during the planning stages, ensuring that requested ground logistics requirements are organized and liaised with selected vendor for on-time performance of departing/arriving flights.
  • Responsible for preparing GOL orders and forward the finalized requests to concerned stakeholders/vendors at base and at outstations as per OCC requests received ensuring the required uplifts are planned, communicated and onboard.
  • Follow-up on daily flight movement and coordinate with handlers/caterers/hotels/suppliers and down-route to ensure that the required services are provided during the flights.
  • Follow-up with relevant stakeholders in case of diversions, delays, change in schedule or cancellations of a flight in order to ensure required service is provided/amended/cancelled in a timely manner.
  • Create PO on the system in a timely manner to ensure that Purchase Orders are raised with correct entries and as per approved vendor pricing list/database.
  • Ensure awareness of pricing lists of vendors from all destinations and apply the same correctly when preparing GOL Purchase Orders.
  • Carry out any other additional duties as per operational requirements or as specified by Line Manager/Department In-Charge.


Skills


  • High school certificate essential
  • Preferred to hold a university or Diploma/Degree in Logistics
  • Aviation operational background and experience preferred
  • Excellent command in English Language. 
  • Computer skills is a must word, excel, outlook.
  • Successfully completed previous aviation related services.
  • Knowledge of additional languages.
  • Must be organized, proactive and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written Communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills
  • Strong knowledge in the development and implementation of policies & procedures.
